Brazil proved their excellent organizational skills for the last Gymnasiade, which is the biggest event of ISF, reuniting more than 2000 young athletes “After the Gymnasiade, we now look for tackling new challenges such as the organization of ISF big events” Robson Aguiar, ISF President of American Continent and General Secretary of CBDE. ISF recently attributed the Tennis WSC 2017 to São Paolo.
The next event that Brazil will organize is the WSC Beach Volleyball in Aracaju next June. This WSC will be separated into two age category 15-16 years old and 17-18 years old. Adding more age category such as 12-14 age categories to ISF event is one of aspiration of Robson. There will be some events to test this project to further implement it to all ISF events if the project is approved during the ISF Convention. The School South American Games (Juegos Sudamericanos Escolares; Jogos Sul-Americanos Escolar) have already proved it as a success with the participation of 200 young athletes per delegation, therefore Robson presented this project of various age category during the Executive Meeting in Rome.
As ISF President of American continent, Robson aims at improving the number of affiliation of American countries, to work closely with Pan American Games and reinforce the relation between the South American, North American and Caribbean Countries.
