Normandy, 16 September 2019 – ISF is entering the next phase of the ISF Gymnasiade School Summer Games 2022 preparations with an official visits to the four candidate countries: Azerbaijan, France, Russia and Serbia.
This week, from 15-17 September 2019, ISF delegation is in Normandy, France.
ISF delegation, led by the ISF president Mr Laurent Petrynka and consisting of the ISF Deputy President Mr Robson Aguiar, ISF Secretary General / CEO Mr Hrvoje Custonja, ISF Sports Director Mr Josip Kosutic, ISF Assessor / EC member Mr Roman Greba and ISF Deputy Secretary General / CEO Mr Kole Gjeloshaj, visited the candidate cities in Normandy, France, the region aiming to welcome the global ISF youth and host the ISF Gymnasiade School Summer Games in 2022.
The visit included the overview of the host cities – Caen, Deauville, Rouen and Val de Reuil, venues inspection, bidding presentations and meetings with Mr Philippe Augier, the Mayor of Deauville, and other the local authorities.
The visit will conclude on Tuesday with a general bidding presentation of Normandy 2022.
ISF Gymnasiade School Summer Games is the international multi-sport event for youth between the ages of 15-18. Beside France, there are three other candidates to host the 2022 edition: Azerbaijan, Russia and Serbia.
