ISF General Assembly 2019 was held from 28 June - 1 July 2019 in Agadir, Morocco. ISF members were involved in various committee meetings, with the main General Assembly taking place on 30 June 2019.

Committees meetings were held on Friday, 28 June 2019. Five ISF committees – Development and Cooperation, Education and Legacy, Marketing and Communication, Sports, and Youth and Athletes committee – gathered to discuss the progress and determine the agenda for the future development.

ISF Continental meetings | 29 June 2019
ISF Continental meetings took place on the morning of 29 June 2019. The School Sport Associations of Africa, Europe and Oceania and its ISF Continental presidents Mr Youssef Belqasmi, Mr Nicos Megalemos and Mr Graeme Jennings gathered to present and evaluate the past and current development of School Sport around the World.

ISF Executive Committee meeting took place on the afternoon of 29 June 2019. The members highlighted various topics related to the expansion and development of ISF and School Sport around the Globe.

ISF General Assembly | 30 June 2019
At the official opening of the ISF General Assembly on Sunday, 30 June 2019, the government officials from Morocco were present; Mr Saaïd Amzazi, Minister of National Education Youth, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr Ahmed Hajji, Wali of Souss Massa region – Governor of Agadir Ida ou Tanane Prefecture and Mr Mohammed Hmimiz, Director of Sports at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Morocco.

Report of the ISF President Mr Laurent Petrynka
After the official opening, ISF General Assembly began with the report from the ISF president Mr Laurent Petrynka. The ISF president highlighted the milestones achieved in the past year in regards of stronger development on all continents and better recognition of the ISF worldwide.

Report of the ISF Secretary General/CEO Mr Hrvoje Custonja
ISF CEO/Secretary General Mr Hrvoje Čustonja presented the progress and the development of the ISF in terms of increased participation of the youth and delegations, new ISF members, new events and the recognition of the ISF on the world stage.
Report of the ISF deputy president Mr Robson Aguiar
ISF deputy president Mr Robson Aguiar presented the strong development and the activity of the ISF and its members around the World, with new events organised and new ISF members hosting the World Schools Championships and other competitions.

Report of the ISF vice president Mr Xue Yanqing
ISF vice president Mr Xue Yanqing highlighted the progress on the preparation phase for the organisation of the ISF Gymnasiade – School Summer Games 2020, the work of the Jinjiang Local Organising Committee and the development of the Chinese School Sport Federation.
The reports of the ISF continental presidents
The ISF continental presidents of Africa, Europe and Oceania, Mr Youssef Belqasmi, Mr Nicos Megalemos and Mr Graeme Jennings made a presentation on past and current development of the continental school sport federations.

New ISF Continental presidents of America and Asia were elected
Mr Roger J. Goudy from the United States became the ISF continental president of America, while Mr Santi Pawai from Thailand became the ISF continental president of Asia.

Presentation of the four ISF Gymnasiade 2022 candidates
ISF members had a chance to see the presentations from the candidates for the organisation of the ISF Gymnasiade - School Summer Games 2022: Azerbaijan, France, Russian Federation and Serbia.

Presentation of ISF Gymnasiade 2020, Jinjiang local organising committee
The delegation from China and the Jinjiang Local Organising Committee presented its report on the current state of affair for the organisation of the ISF School Summer Games – Gymnasiade 2020.
Adoption of the new ISF sport policy; excellence, tradition, innovation, inclusion
ISF adopted a new sports policy - presented at the GA by the ISF Sports Director Mr Josip Kosutic - which divides ISF events in four categories: ISF multi-sport games, ISF World Schools Championships, ISF International School Sport cups and ISF projects. The goal is to reach the largest possible number of students from all over the World with the aim of harnessing the power of sport in order to promote value education, fair-play, respect, healthy lifestyle, peace and understanding.

MoU with the International Teqball Federation
A signature of MoU between ISF, represented by the ISF president Mr Laurent Petrynka, and the International Teqball Federation, represented by Mr Marius Vizer Jr (FITEQ Head of International Relations), took place during the ISF General Assembly with an aim of jointly promoting teqball to be a competition sport at future ISF competitions.

The future General Assemblies and Executive Committee meeting
ISF General Assembly will be hosted by Belgrade, Serbia in 2020. Doha, Qatar will be the host of the 2021 ISF General Assembly while Punta Cana, Dominican Republic will gathered the ISF Executive Committee members in 2020.
In 2019, Zagreb, Croatia will host the next ISF Executive Committee meeting.
