From 7-12 July 2019, Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal hosted the inaugural ISF Inclusive Games. Six countries participated at the first edition of the event which held three different sport disciplines and numerous other activities based on the education through sport values.
The games were a new and innovative school sport event, organised by ISF and the Ministry of Education of Portugal (School Sport federation of Portugal).
ISF Inclusive Games were supported by the official ISF sponsor Kinder+Sport.



Young athletes from 6 countries participated at the first edition of the ISF Inclusive Games.

ISF Inclusive Games consisted of three sports: Athletics, Boccia and Goalball
The event created an opportunity for students with Special Educational Needs or Disability, to participate in an international sporting event, t compete and live together with other students from different countries promoting the spirit of inclusion.

Seminar on inclusion in sport
Alongside ISF Inclusive Games, a seminar on inclusion in sport, sport as a vehicle for inclusion, good practises and more was held with 250 teachers and speakers, also from Latvia and England, tackling the different aspects of sport and inclusion in School Sport.
