International School Sport Federation (ISF) (Rue Archimède 59, 1000 Brussels, and CBE number 0476.233.673 (hereinafter “ISF”, “we”, “our”) who is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

To better protect your privacy, we provide this Statement explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used by ISF. To make this Notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested. 
We strongly urge you to read this Notice and make sure you fully understand and agree with it before you access or use any of our services.  If you do not read, fully understand, and agree to this Privacy Notice, you must immediately leave this website, application, or service, and avoid or discontinue all use of any of our services.  

Capitalized terms which are not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms of Business.

1. General terms

This privacy notice (the "Notice") describes why and how we collect and use the Personal Data of our clients and potential clients, service providers and processing of the personal data we collect when you are using the website, namely www.isfsports.org, (hereinafter the “Website”), operated by the INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SPORT FEDERATION
We are a data controller. This means that We are responsible for deciding how We process Personal Data about You. We are required under EU Privacy Laws to notify You of the information contained in this Notice. Depending on who You are, we collect different Personal Data from You, for specified purposes and based on a specific legal ground and section 2, 3 and 4 will apply to our Processing of your Personal Data. 


Personal data we collect about you. 
Through the use of cookies, we will automatically collect the following information, including personal data, when visiting the Website:

  1. Technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, the browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and version and the operating system and platform.
  2. Information about your visit including clickstream to, through and from our websites (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs).
  3. Information to enable the ISF and our partners to administer all online data, including personal data, assessment data and history of involvement with ISF.

Personal data we might receive from other sources. 
It is possible that we receive personal data, not from you directly but your school sport entity – in which case we have, in principle, already informed you about the processing of that personal data and of our intention to share those personal data internally and combine them with data collected through the Website

2. Individuals subscribing to our newsletter and forms

When You subscribe to our newsletter or one of our forms, You may have to provide us with your first name, last name, organization/company, position, email address, and phone number. We collect this Personal Data when You fill in our newsletter subscription page or You submit your interest via one of Our forms. 
The newsletter allows us to inform You about indispensable information and news regarding Our events and the School Sport Community. 
We do so based on your consent and We store your Personal Data as long as You don't withdraw it.
However, We may retain your Personal Data for a longer period in order to comply with EU or national laws. 
We may retain electronic copies of files containing Personal Data created pursuant to automatic archiving or back-up procedures which cannot reasonably be deleted. In these cases, We shall ensure that the Personal Data are not further actively processed.

3. Change of purpose 

We will only use your Personal Data for the purposes for which We collected it, unless We reasonably consider that We need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. 
If We need to use your Personal Data for an unrelated purpose, We will notify You and We will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so. 

4. Which third-parties process your Personal Data and where are they transferred?

ISF may share your Personal data with third parties (or otherwise allow them access to it) only in the following manners and instances:
4.1.Third Party Services
In order to provide our services to You, We work with other companies and services providers. These include: 
(a) sendinblue, a third party providing email marketing services allowing us to communicate with You through all ISF newsletters and announcements. sendinblue is located in the Paris, France. Your Personal Data are transferred to, stored and processed in France and may be shared there. We have taken steps with sendinblue to ensure that the transfer of your Personal Data to sendinblue complies with EU Privacy Law. sendinblue participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. We do not use other third-parties to process your Personal Data or otherwise transfer Personal Data outside of the EEA and/or disclose your Personal Data to other recipients than those identified in this Notice. If We were to do so, We will comply with EU Privacy Law. 
7.2. Law Enforcement, Legal Requests and Duties
Where permitted by local data protection laws, ISF may disclose or otherwise allow others access to your Personal data pursuant to a legal request, such as a subpoena, legal proceedings, search warrant or court order, or in compliance with applicable laws, if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so, with or without notice to you.
If warranted, we may also allow access to this information in special emergencies where physical safety is at risk. We reserve the right to disclose any personal data or other information obtained from or about you, to third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, to the extent that this is necessary for the process. 

5. Data security

Your Personal Data are treated as confidential. In order to safeguard your Personal Data from unauthorized access, collection use, disclosure copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, We have put in place appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures, with all of our work be done through a fully encrypted server. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. 
We restrict access to your Personal Data to those employees and staff who need to know that information to provide benefits or services to You. 
In addition, We train our staff about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. We commit to taking appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce our staff' privacy responsibilities. 

6. Your rights in connection with Personal Data

Under certain circumstances, under EU Privacy Law, You have the right to: 
(a) Request access to your Personal Data. This enables to receive a copy of the Personal Data We hold about You and to check that We are lawfully Processing it. 
(b) Request correction of the Personal Data that We hold about You. This enables You to have any incomplete or inaccurate information We hold about You corrected. 
(c) Request erasure of your Personal Data. This enables You to ask us to delete or remove Personal Data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your Personal Data where You have exercised your right to object to Processing (see below). 
(d) Request the restriction of Processing of your Personal Data. This enables You to ask us to suspend the Processing of Personal Data about You, for example if You want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for Processing it. 
(e) Request the transfer of your Personal Data to another party (right to data portability).

We process information about visits to our website, the web pages visited, the date and time of access, domain name of the user and of the searches performed. Such information includes Personal Data. We use this information for internal purposes to compile aggregate statistical data about users' browsing actions and patterns and to estimate our audience size and usage patterns. Please note that Third Party Services placing cookies or utilizing other tracking technologies through our Services may have their own policies regarding how they collect and store information. Such practices are not covered by our Privacy Statement and we do not have any control over them.

7.1.1. Our website uses cookies, pixel tags and other forms of identification and local storage (together referred to as “tags/files” hereunder) to distinguish you from other users of the website and of websites of our network. This helps us provide you with a good experience when you browse the website and websites of our network and also allows us to improve our website and our services.

7.2.2 Google Analytics: a tool that allows us to assess how you and other web users use this website, and this information is essential in helping us to continuously improve our website's functionality. They can be preserved from 30 minutes to 2 years.
