ISF and CSSF Sign ISF Football World Cup in Brussels

International School Sport Federation (ISF) and China School Sports Federation (CSSF) Team up to Host Global Events for the Youth

Belgium Brussels. (March 21, 2023) - The International School Sport Federation (ISF) and The China School Sports Federation (FSSC) are proud to announce the signature of the 2024/2026/2028 ISF Football World Cup in China, with the signing ceremony being held during the ISF Executive Committee Meeting in Brussels.

The signature was witnessed by H.E Ambassador CAO Zhongming, the Counselor Mr. ZHENG Baoguo from Chinese side and by ISF Executive members from ISF Side.

The two entities signed an agreement that will see ISF and FSSC work together to host three sessions of ISF Football World cup for athletes under the age of 18-years-old from across the globe in the years of 2024, 2026 and 2028.

Founded in 1972, The international School Sport Federation (ISF) is an international non-profit sport organization, acting as the umbrella organization and governing body for national school sport organizations around the world, organized sport, and educational events for youth from 6 to 18 years old.

Recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 1995, the ISF currently consists of 132 members all over the five continents organizing over 10 events per year and has more than 30 different sports included in its competition. About The FSSC:

Established in 1973, the China School Sports Federation (FSSC) is a national sports social organization, approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and supervised by the Ministry of Education of China. The FSSC is the only legal organization to organize nationwide school sports competitions and to represent China to join in The international School Sport Federation (ISF), Asian School Sport Federation (ASSF) and Asian Schools Football Federation (ASFF).

Each year, the FSSC organizes more than 140 national school sports competitions in more than 40 sports and sends more than 50 delegations to attend the school games, conferences and exchange activities, organized by the international and Asian sports organizations. Nowadays, the FSSC has set up 20 branch organizations, based on sports of athletics, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, etc. and 6 working committees to assist the FSSC in aspects of sport teachers, referees management, media, etc..

Co-organized by the FSSC, the National Student Sports Games is the only multi-sports games for students, which will involve the largest number of student players. The FSSC plays an active role in taking part in World and Asian Student championships and Gymnasiade and has successfully held the 1st session of Gymnasiade and 34 school sport events and conferences of a world or Asian level in China.
