New ISF Executive Committee Holds First Meeting and Establishes Management Committee for 2026–2030 Term
Jul. 22, Belgrade, Serbia – The newly elected ISF Executive Committee held its first meeting in Belgrade on Wednesday, formally beginning its mandate for the 2026–2030 term and bringing together the Federation’s newly elected leadership for the first time. The meeting was attended by Dejan Bojović, Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
Mr. Bojović welcomed the newly elected members of the ISF Executive Committee and conveyed the continued support of Serbia and its national Olympic movement for the International School Sport Federation and the development of school sport worldwide.
The first meeting of the new Executive Committee marked an important step in establishing the governance structure for the new term.
During the meeting, the Executive Committee nominated two of its members, Mr. Olabisi Joseph of Nigeria and Ms. Elena Mickovska of North Macedonia, to serve as its representatives on the ISF Management Committee. With these nominations, the Management Committee for the 2026–2030 term is now formally constituted. It comprises ISF President Željko Tanasković, Vice-Presidents Antônio Hora Filho, Youssef Belqasmi and Lianshuai Teng, the two nominated Executive Committee representatives Olabisi Joseph and Elena Mickovska, and ISF Secretary General Hasnae El Ayoubi.
The establishment of the new Management Committee marks the formal completion of a key stage in putting the governance structure of the new ISF term into operation. In accordance with the ISF Statutes and governance framework, the Executive Committee and Management Committee will shortly continue the process of renewing the specialised committees, such as ISF Technical Commission, to further establishing the structures that will support the development of ISF activities throughout the 2026–2030 term.
