Brasília Celebrates the Conclusion of a Landmark ISF WSC Futsal 2025

Nov. 20, Brasília, Brazil – The ISF World School Futsal Championship 2025 concluded yesterday in Brasília, marking the end of an exceptional week of competition, friendship, and international cooperation. With thrilling finals, inspiring cultural exchanges, and innovative event organisation, this year’s edition will be remembered as one of the most impactful in ISF futsal history.

The final day of competition delivered two unforgettable gold-medal matches.


In the Girls’ Final, Brazil 1 claimed the championship title with a decisive 4–0 victory over Ukraine. The bronze-medal match offered equally dramatic moments, as France and Chinese Taipei drew 4–4, before France edged ahead in a tense penalty shoot-out to secure the podium.

A rare coincidence awaited the spectators in the Boys’ Final, where the same nations met once again. Ukraine opened strongly with two early goals, but Brazil 1 staged an impressive comeback, scoring four unanswered goals to take the title. Brazil 3 overcame France 8–3 to secure the boys’ bronze medal,

The Chinese boys’ team received the Fair Play Award, recognising their exemplary sportsmanship throughout the event.

This year’s ISF WSC Futsal marked a milestone for both the sport and the ISF community, bringing together an unprecedented field of 39 teams from 18 delegations from 4 continents, with a total of 603 participants—the largest participation in the history of ISF futsal events.

The event drew the attention of several embassies and international representatives based in Brazil, underlining the global relevance of school sport and the growing recognition of ISF’s mission. Through this championship, school futsal was not only showcased on an international stage, but also helped spark wider dialogue on the importance of youth sport, intercultural exchange, and educational development across nations.
