The programme also builds on the growing cooperation between ISF and UWW in the field of coach and educator development. Collaboration between the two organisations dates back to the ISF U15 Gymnasiade – Zlatibor, Serbia 2025, where wrestling education activities were delivered as part of the event’s broader educational programme. Since then, both organisations have continued exploring ways to connect the expertise of the international wrestling community with school sport environments and educational stakeholders.

Through cooperation with International Federations such as UWW, ISF Academy continues to expand opportunities for educators, teachers, and coaches to access sport-specific knowledge and professional development pathways. These programmes create direct links between the expertise of international sport governing bodies and local school sport communities, supporting the long-term development of both education and sport.

The Wrestling Coach Education Programme in New Delhi represents the latest stage in this collaboration, bringing together international expertise, national school sport structures, and educational professionals in support of youth development through sport.
