The programme forms part of the growing cooperation between the ISF, FIBA, and national school sport stakeholders, aiming to provide educators with structured learning opportunities, international methodologies, and practical coaching knowledge adapted to school sport settings.

Led by experienced basketball coach and educator Veselin Matic, the sessions focused on enhancing teaching approaches, developing coaching competencies, and creating engaging learning environments for young students through basketball.

By bringing together International Federation expertise, school sport organisations, educators, and schools, the programme created opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional development adapted to local educational contexts.

Following the successful implementation of the programme in India, ISF Academy and its partners will continue exploring further international federation-led educational initiatives in cooperation with national school sport stakeholders in different regions of the world.
