WSC Futsal 2025 inspection

ISF Experts Conduct Inspection Visit in Brasília Ahead of ISF WSC Futsal 2025

Sep. 25, Brasília, Brazil – In preparation for the ISF World School Futsal Championship – Brasília 2025, ISF representatives carried out an inspection visit this week to review organisational progress and ensure that all participating delegations will enjoy high-quality services when they gather in Brasília this November.

The ISF delegation, comprising ISF Sport Director Marko Petrič, ISF Event Director Uroš Savić, and ISF Technical Committee President for Futsal Luiz Delphino, was warmly welcomed by Confederação Brasileira do Desporto Escolar (CBDE), the local  ISF member federation, headed by ISF Vice President and CBDE President Antonio Hora Filho, and Local Organising Committee (LOC).

At the CBDE headquarters, ISF experts held a series of working meetings with local colleagues. The agenda included a comprehensive review of preparations, as well as in-depth discussions on competition venues, athletes’ accommodation, cultural & educational activities, and other aspects linked to ISF events. Among the Brazilian leadership present were CBDE Vice President and Executive Director Robson Aguiar, Head of the CBDE Chairman’s Office Simone Simon, Chair of the ISF WSC Futsal LOC and Olympian Samory Uiki Fraga, along with other key stakeholders.

Reflecting ISF’s long-standing vision of financially efficient, high-quality, and sustainable event organisation, CBDE has developed an innovative collaboration with the Centro Internacional de Convenções do Brasil (CICB). The convention centre's official hotel, CICB Hospitality, will serve as the official accommodation for delegations, while several futsal courts will be constructed directly within the convention centre. The convention centre will also host the Opening Ceremony, Fun & Skill Zone, Nations Night, and ISF Academy Workshops. This integrated approach significantly reduces transportation costs, lowers the event’s carbon footprint, and provides added convenience for delegations and the families and friends of athletes travelling from abroad.

In the coming days, the ISF delegation, together with CBDE and the LOC, will continue their inspection by visiting training venues and cultural day sites. With the combined efforts of all partners, the ISF World School Futsal Championship – Brasília 2025 is shaping up to be an event that not only celebrates the passion for school sport, but also showcases innovation, sustainability, and the cultural richness of Brazil.
