ISF U15 World School Volleyball Championship 2025 Concludes in Shangluo

Dec. 12, Shangluo, China — After eight days of competition, cultural exchange, and educational activities, the ISF U15 World School Volleyball Championship 2025 officially concluded today in Shangluo. Thirty teams from 17 delegations across four continents came together for a memorable edition that showcased not only sporting excellence, but also the values at the heart of school sport: respect, teamwork, fair play, and international friendship.

The girls’ final saw P.R.China 1 deliver a strong performance, winning 3–0 over Chinese Taipei to secure the championship title. In the bronze-medal match, Thailand prevailed 2–0 over Brazil, earning a well-deserved place on the podium.

The boys’ competition offered equally compelling moments. Iran claimed the championship after a hard-fought final against Chinese Taipei, while India defeated Brazil 3–0 to secure the bronze medal — a historic achievement for the delegation.

Across all matches, athletes demonstrated discipline, determination, and the joyful spirit that defines ISF events.

As the first city to host four consecutive editions of the ISF World School Volleyball Championships (2025–2028), Shangluo has demonstrated strong ambition to develop volleyball and youth sport. The city will next welcome delegations from around the world in the coming July, when it hosts the ISF World School Volleyball Championship 2026 for U18 category.

This championship will be remembered for its positive spirit, high organisational standards, and the meaningful connections built among young school athletes from different cultures.

The ISF now looks ahead to a dynamic 2026 season featuring events in North Macedonia, Serbia, China, Morocco, and the Gymnasiade — continuing its mission to empower youth through sport and education.
