ISF Sportdata digital 2026

New Strategic Digital Partnership to Elevate School Sport Events

Apr. 13, Lausanne, Switzerland – ISF has entered into a strategic partnership with Sportdata, a world-class provider with more than 20 years of experience delivering digital competition solutions for the Olympic Games, the World Games, and major international multisport events. This partnership marks an important milestone in ISF’s ongoing efforts to enhance the event experience for its members, student athletes, and all school sport stakeholders worldwide.

The signing ceremony took place at ISF Headquarters in Lausanne, in the presence of ISF President Željko Tanasković and the ISF leadership team. Sportdata was represented by Managing Director Roland Breiteneder. Representatives from Research Industrial Systems Engineering (RISE) also joined the meeting, including CEO Dr. Karin Kappel, and Dr. Thomas Grechenig, Management Spokesman and Founder.

Together, ISF and Sportdata are building a unified digital ecosystem specifically designed for ISF Members and the student athletes they represent.

The cooperation introduces an integrated suite of services across four key pillars:

  1. Registration & Entry Management
A seamless, centralised portal for event registration and payments, ensuring a smooth user experience and 100% eligibility accuracy.
  2. Timing & Scoring
Professional digital scoring panels for referees and officials, with instant synchronisation to public scoreboards, web portals, and broadcast graphics simultaneously.
  3. On-Venue Results Management
Real-time tournament architecture, pool standings, and final rankings, accessible globally throughout ISF events.
  4. Global Rankings & Live Results
A public-facing platform allowing families, schools, coaches, and fans to follow student athletes’ journeys in real time from anywhere in the world.

This event management system will also be made available to interested ISF Members, enabling national/regional school sport organisations to integrate the Sportdata system into their own domestic events and further improve local event delivery standards.

This strategic cooperation represents a major step forward in the digital transformation of school sport. By bringing world-class infrastructure into school sport environments, ISF aims to make event planning easier for members, increase visibility for schools and student athletes, and deliver a more professional, transparent, and engaging experience both on site and online.
