ŠTRBArace 2023, the Slovak Championship in Obstacle Run
The National Sports Center organised on the 4th of October ŠTRBArace 2023 - Slovak championship in obstacle run for high school students.
The mixed teams of 4 high school students had to work hard in order to complete the two-kilometer track with eighteen obstacles. They had to crawl through mud, run up a steep hill, climb a rope, squat and overcome various other obstacles that really gave them a hard time!
In total 368 high school students forming 92 teams from 84 high schools from all corners of Slovakia dared to take up this challenge. And the best ones were rewarded! Apart from teams running for prizes, we had athletes from NŠC, and a team from Extreme Obstacle Runners.
Volunteers, referees, workers, the ZŠ Štrba school, the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee and the Slovak Anti-Doping Agency were all thanked for their hard work.
